Challenge
Embarking on the Yourbiz rebranding journey brings the exciting challenge of setting it apart from competitors, infusing a sense of fun and innovation into its brand perception, creating a more distinctive visual identity, and smoothly adapting existing content to match the evolving brand narrative.
Design process
I have used and adapted a Design Process called the Design Thinking Method, this framework allows us to manage large projects and enables us to put the user at the center of attention.
Discover
This phase entails a detailed current brand analysis to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, our focus is on defining new objectives aligned with Yourbiz's strategic vision. Concurrently, market research is conducted to inform decisions based on industry trends and competitive landscapes. Additionally, targeted interviews with various Yourbiz employees provide internal insights, fostering a holistic understanding of the brand's dynamics.
Old Brand Identity
The analysis with stakeholders revealed key challenges in Yourbiz's existing brand identity. Issues include an unprofessional logo, ambiguity in communicating the agency's focus on development and innovation, a lack of distinctiveness in visuals, and the inadequacy of using solely the color orange to represent a consultancy emphasizing professionalism. The redesign initiative seeks to systematically address these challenges, aiming to deliver a revamped identity that aligns seamlessly with Yourbiz's expertise and aspirations.
Define
During the Define phase of Yourbiz's brand design, I systematically organized and extracted crucial insights from prior analyses. This process enabled a clear understanding of the brand's strategy, values, and tone of voice. The distilled information forms a solid foundation for crafting a cohesive and authentic brand identity in subsequent design stages.

Develop
Exploring different possibilities of brand direction, ranging from the more conservative end of the spectrum to the boldest and most daring logos. This process is instrumental in deciphering the ideal direction in collaboration with stakeholders. By presenting a spectrum of design options, we aim to initiate a dialogue that not only captures your brand essence but also aligns seamlessly with the preferences and aspirations of all key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Presentation
After developing various alternatives, I created a
presentation to showcase the work to different stakeholders.
Together, we decided to opt for a moderate-level change.
With all the analyzed material, I now have all the necessary
information to move forward with the actual development of
the entire brand image.
Deliver
In the Deliver phase, the comprehensive development of the visual identity took place. During this process, the logo was designed, color palettes and typography were selected, and visual elements such as illustrations were developed. Brand guidelines were established, stylistic choices for photography were defined, and material was adapted for social channels. Attention was also given to tangible materials like mugs, notebooks, shirts, signs, business cards, letterheads, badges, and more. The meticulous approach ensured consistency in embodying the essence of Yourbiz across various platforms.
